The view was beautiful, making it the perfect place to savor a snack or lunch. The curry, matcha, sweets, and hamburger lunch sets were quite good. The only disappointment was the gelato, which seemed overpriced and nothing out of the ordinary

Great little cafe overlooking the beautiful tea farms. It is a smaller place so you likely will have to wait in line. Lunch is served from 11am to 2pm but you can get cafe items before, during and after! You can get take away ice cream and drinks. Amazing hot matcha latte.

The Dan Dan cafe is a very rural place in the Wazuka region of Kyoto Prefecture. Surrounded by rolling hills, flowers, and top-rated tea fields, it provides and ideal setting for a break out in the countryside. It’s not all perfect, as in the summer or late spring it is very busy and the staff get very overwhelmed, which makes getting your order a test of patience. Expect to wait, but don’t forget where you are. It’s quite beautiful. 🫖🍵🍨

We were on our way to a tea plantation and stopped by Dan Dan for lunch. Ordered their curry rice and pork katsu set. Taste- great! Price, reasonable. Parking, easy. Service- good. Atmosphere and surroundings- fantastic. If you sit facing the plantation, you will be able to soak in the superb views while munching. Serenity is the theme here. Couple of outdoor tables available if you don't mind the cold. It was about 15°C at that time. Cafe is a simple and neat place to get a coffee too. Loved it. Would I come back, surely YES.

Great place with super super awesome view! From this cafe you can see Shirasu & Ishitera Tea Plantation (石寺の茶畑). Also their ice cream is delicious. Strongly recommend to visit during this season.

Super cute cafe with an amazingly delicious set meal. Great views as well. Reservations are difficult to make unless you speak fluent Japanese.

This is The first time I went to the Dan Dan Cafe. The space is narrow but cozy. Outside is a large and beautiful green tea hill. Delicious green tea and ice cream, ok price.
